Ingredients
- 1 kg stewing pork
- 1 Tbsp cake wheat flour
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
-
3 Tbsp Zola’s Feast Flavourbomb Spice Mix (or Cajun seasoning)
- 1 Tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 Tbsp fennel seeds
- 2 Tbsp garlic and ginger paste
- 1 onion, peeled and chopped
- 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 1 stick celery, chopped
-
1 x 400 g can chopped tomatoes
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 cups vegetable stock
- 200 g baby potatoes, halved
- 3 baby cabbages, cut into wedges
Directions
Add the pork to a bowl along with the flour. Season with salt and pepper, then toss to coat.
Heat the oil in a pot, then brown the pork pieces until golden all over. Add the Flavourbomb Spice Mix (or Cajun seasoning), lemon pepper seasoning, fennel seeds, and garlic and ginger paste. Stir, then cook with the pork for a minute.
Add the onion, carrots and celery, cover and allow to cook gently until the onions begin to soften.
Add the canned tomatoes, sugar and stock, then stir in the baby potatoes and bring to the boil. Adjust the seasoning to taste, add the cabbage wedges, then cover the pan with the lid and transfer to your Wonderbag.
Allow to slow-cook in the Wonderbag for at least 1.5 - 2 hours, and serve straight back from the pot.
